Mitchell J. Freedman has been an attorney for over twenty-five years. He has tried twenty cases, with fourteen first chair trials and nine jury trials. He has won jury verdicts in cases involving employment law, professional liability, contracts, premises liability, products liability and other areas of civil law. He also has extensive experience in insurance coverage law on behalf of policy holders and insurance companies. He has taken hundreds of depositions, including expert depositions, and has, in addition to trials, tried many arbitrations. In addition, for six years, Mr. Freedman was general counsel at two high-tech start-ups where he advised companies in matters involving employee wages and hours law, real estate leasing and trademarks. He also prepared and negotiated a variety of contracts, and prepared quarterly and yearly to the Securities and Exchange Commission on behalf of publicly-traded companies. Mr. Freedman has a degree in History and Political Science from Rutgers University, and a law degree from California Western School of Law. He is licensed to practice in the California and Arizona state courts, and the Central and Southern Federal District Courts in California.
