Michael D. Goodman was born in Norwalk, California. Michael is the father of a young daughter and son. He obtained his bachelor of Science degree in accounting from California State University, Long Beach, in 1991. Michael obtained his Juris Doctor degree from Western State University School of Law in 1995, where he was a member of the Law Review. Michael is a member of the Los Angeles County Bar Association, The American Bar Association and The Association of Southern California Defense Counsel.

Michael is admitted to practice before all the courts in the State of California as well as the Central and Southern Federal District Courts of California. He has successfully argued several cases before the California Court of Appeal, including the Second District cases entitled, Jose Morales v. Deborah Rosen, and Christopher Carpenter v. Universal Studios.

Michael has been a litigator for over ten years whose primary practice emphasis includes civil litigation for clients NBC/Universal Studios, Washington Mutual, several Lloyds of London insurance syndicates and CLP Resources Incorporated. Mr. Goodman’s practice includes general liability, auto liability, professional negligence, products liability, construction defect and insurance coverage litigation. Michael has conducted numerous judicial and private arbitrations in the firm’s practice areas and has participated in numerous mediations and court settlement conferences, including serving as a settlement program officer in the Los Angeles Superior Court.
